Ruby Meeler Ragsdale

RUBY MEELER RAGSDALE, age 91, of Baldwin, GA, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at a private care facility. Mrs. Ragsdale was born on August 9, 1914 in Banks County, GA. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Lola Black Meeler and also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ragsdale, one sister, Willie Mae Cochran and one brother, Swain Meeler. Mrs. Ragsdale was a member of Damascus Baptist Church and retired from Carwood Manufacturing. Survivors include: one daughter: Eloise Howington, Suwanee, GA, one granddaughter and her husband, Pam and Marshall Millikan, Suwanee, GA, and two great-granddaughters: Mattie and Morgan Millikan, Suwanee, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 27, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin with Rev. Luther Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 27, 2006.
