Ruby Jo Martin Woody

Ruby Jo Martin Woody, age 84, of Homer, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018. Mrs. Woody was born on April 2, 1934 in Homer, Georgia to the late Joe Brown Martin and Ruby Griffin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Woody. Mrs. Woody attended Homer Baptist Church. She was former owner of Woody’s Wrecker Service. Survivors include her sister, Blanche Martin Crump, of Carnesville; niece, Lee Ann Crump Coker, of Homer; nephew, David Coker, of Homer; great-nephew, Alex Coker, of Homer. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Homer Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Crabbe officiating. Interment will follow in the Homer Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel in Baldwin.
