Roy Lewallen

Roy Lewallen, age 52, of Baldwin, GA passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Lewallen was born on January 11, 1958 in Commerce, GA to the late Ralph Kenley and Liza Mae Payne Lewallen. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Lewallen, Milton Lewallen, and Edward Lewallen. Mr. Lewallen was a member of the Mt. View Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Betty Barrett Lewallen, Baldwin, GA; his daughter, Haley Lewallen, Baldwin, GA; his sisters, Carol Wood, Commerce, GA, Lenora Simmons, Baldwin, GA, Diane Poole, Baldwin, GA, Nancy Simmons, Alto, GA, Delois Poole, Baldwin, GA, Kathy Sheridan, Alto, GA; his brothers, Tommy Lewallen, Maysville, GA, Terry Lewallen, Cornelia, GA, Ralph Lewallen, Jr., Baldwin, GA, and Mark Lewallen, Baldwin, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with the Rev. James Harvey and Rev. Luther Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the B.C. Grant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, February 05, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
