Ronald "Ronnie" Ramey

RONALD "RONNIE" RAMEY, age 68, of Mt. Airy , Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Mr. Ramey was born on March 19, 1947 in Clayton, Georgia to the late Jerry and Minnie Holcomb Ramey. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Danny Ramey. Mr. Ramey was of the Baptist Faith, and was a retired truck driver with Premier Transportation. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Laina Ramey, of Mt. Airy; sons, Kevin Ramey of Shelby, NC.; and T.J. Ramey, of Mt. Airy; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Steve Medlin, of Toccoa; brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis and Emily Ramey, of Martin; Larry and Diane Ramey, of Greenville, SC., Greg and Lynn Ramey, of Hollywood; grandchild, Caitlyn Ramey of Shelby, NC. No Formal Service is scheduled at this time. The family will receive friends at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015.
