ROBERT EDWARD SENSINGER, age 70, of Clarkesville, GA, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Sensinger was born on October 9, 1935 in Lehigh County, PA to the late Edward Monroe and Erma Mantana Kline Sensinger. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Sensinger and a sister, Beatrice Santee. Mr. Sensinger was a United States Army veteran and was the 1987 Georgia State Horseshoe Tournament Champion. He was a member of the Mt. Airy Masonic Lodge # 141 F & A M having served as secretary for 26 years. Mr. Sensinger was of the reformed denomination in Slatington, PA. He was retired from the textile and transportation industry. Survivors include: his wife: Virginia Sensinger, Clarkesville, GA; his daughters: Judy McCall, Clarkesville, GA; Jannie Dover, Mt. Airy, GA; Joan Weaver, Clarkesville, GA; 1 sister: Arlene Miller, Shoemakersville, PA; 1 brother: George Albert Sensinger, Germansville, PA; 7 grandchildren: Chris Alston, Clarkesville, GA; Justin Garrett, Clarkesville, GA: Eric Dover, Mt. Airy, GA: Johnathon Garrett, Clarkesville, GA; Vanessa Alston, Clarkesville, GA; Bryan Weaver, Clarkesville, GA and Cole Weaver, Clarkesville, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with Rev. Leon Brown officiating, Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens with Masonic rites conducted by the Mt. Airy Lodge #141 F & A M.
