Robert Earl Allen

ROBERT EARL ALLEN, age 76, of Clarkesville, Georgia, went to be with Lord, on Monday, December 7, 2015 following an extended illness. Mr. Allen was born on February 2, 1939 in Clarksville, Georgia to the late Clyde and Bonnie Lachman Allen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Allen; sister, Louise Sosebee and one great-grandchild. Mr. Allen was of the Methodist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and the Georgia National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Fannie Allen, Clarkesville, GA; daughters, Audrey Allen, Tampa, FL, Shelia Hill, Clarkesville, GA; sons, Darrell Allen, Demorest, GA, Dean Allen, Lula, GA; sister, Doris Hooper, Clarkesville, GA; grandchildren, Dusty Allen, Dana McLeod, Zachary Hill, Jacob Hill, Austin Allen, Bliss Allen, Hannah Wilbanks, Leah Cunningham; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Mr. Bill Canup and Mr. Dusty Allen officiating.
