Rick Hartline

Rick Hartline, age 81, of Homer, GA, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at BJC Medical Center. Mr. Hartline was born on July 16, 1926 in Alabama City, AL to the late John A. and Minnie Elizabeth Dobbs Hartline. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Smith Hartline, and a son, Timothy Wallace. Mr. Hartline served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps during World War II. He was employed with Combustion Engineering Co. as an engineer for 20 years, and with the Georgia Power Co. as a service representative for 5 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of the Phi Delta Lodge # 148. Mr. Hartline was a member of the Banks Co. American Legion and Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Survivors are: his daughters: Terry Brock, Alto, GA, and Lisa Bourassa, Phoenix, AL; his sons: Barry Hartline, Homer, GA, and John Hartline, Virginia Beach, VA, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held graveside on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 1 PM in the Mt. Pleasant UMC Cemetery with Rev. Carl Coker and Rev. Brian David officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Mt.
