REV. WILLIAM "BILL" BROWN, age 55, of Alto, GA, died Thursday, July 06, 2006 at the Habersham County Medical Center . Rev. Brown was born on April 1, 1951 in Frankfort, Germany. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Brown. Rev. Brown was a graduate of the Clear Creek Bible College. He was a church leader and teacher. Rev. Brown pastored churches in Kentucky and Ohio. He was a member of the Blackshear Place Baptist Church. Rev. Brown was the manager of Drapery Arts Workroom. Survivors include: his wife: Mary Brown, Alto, GA; his mother: Irene Baker, Dixon, MO; his son and daughter-in-law: Tim and Alison Brown, Mt. Airy, GA; 2 grandchildren: Zachary Brown and Grace Brown. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Rev. Charles Pirkle and Rev. Jeff Crook officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Missionary, Kenneth Martin, 8 Bewley Drive, Lucan, County Dublin IRELAND. ARRANGEMENTS ARE IN THE CARE OF WHITFIELD FUNERAL HOME, NORTH CHAPEL, DEMOREST, GEORGIA.
