Ray Clark

Ray Clark, age 70, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016. Mr. Clark was born on February 6, 1946 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Verner and Grace Dill Clark. He was a United States Army Vietnam Conflict Veteran where he received a bronze star. Mr. Clark was a retired Maintenance Supervisor with Habersham County with 22 years of service. He enjoyed wood-working, camping and babysitting his grandchildren. He also enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking coffee. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Gwen Clark, Mt. Airy, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jeremy Garmon, Mt. Airy, GA; son and daughter-in-law. Granger and Amanda Clark, Mt. Airy, GA; sister, Lois Holden, Mt. Airy, GA; grandchildren, Tanner Garmon, Elijah Garmon and Bailey Grace Garmon. A visitation service is scheduled for 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, 245 Central Avenue, Demorest, Georgia.
