Ralph Joe Nations

Ralph Joe Nations, age 78, of Alto, GA, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the residence. Mr. Nations was born in Swain County, N.C. to the late Robert Lee & Sarah Marie Herron Nations. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Coleman Nations, Grady Nations, and Ben Nations. Mr. Nations was also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Higdon, and Alma Nations. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from general laborer. Survivors include: his wife, Carol M. Nations, Alto, GA, five daughters, Darlene Frady and Daphene Gibson both of Bryson City, NC, JoAnn Nations, Cleveland, GA Bobbie Jo and Rita Jo Nations both of Alto, GA, three sons, Robert and Roy Nations, both of Bryson City, NC, and Roger Nations, Alto, GA, two sisters, Manie Bowers, Moresville, NC and Ann Hidgon, Bryson City, NC, eighteen grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at 11:00am, on Friday, May 9, 2008 at The Wade Family Cemetery, Alto, GA. All friends and family should meet at the cemetery at 10:50am. The family will receive friends at the residence of Roger Nations, Thomas Saw Mill Road, Alto, GA. All flowers, food etc... should be delivered to the residence.
