Ralph Jones

RALPH JONES, age 87, of Hollywood, GA, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Jones was born on January 18, 1921 in Gwinnett County, Georgia to the late Robert and Alma Barker Jones. He was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Mr. Jones was a United States Army veteran having served in the Air Force during World War II. He was retired from Clarkesville Mill after 31 years of dedicated service as a Weave Room Supervisor. Survivors include: his wife: Marjorie Gabrels Jones, Clarkesville, GA; his daughters and sons-in-law: Robin and Calvin Queen, Mountain City, GA; Kimberly and Brad Reid, Norcross, GA; his son and daughter-in-law: Gary and Wanda Jones, Hollywood, GA; 2 grandchildren: Alex and Kara Reid, Norcross, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2008 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with Rev. Tony Kemp and Rev. John Humphries officiating. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Habersham County American Legion Post #84 and the Rabun County D.A.V. Chapter #15.
