Preston M Galloway

Preston M Galloway, age 77, of Hollywood, GA died Wednesday, January 16, 2008 following an extended illness. Mr. Galloway was born in Habersham County on September 8, 1930 to the late Berry and Ozella Ivester Galloway. He was also preceded in death by his brother Charles Galloway and his sister Eunice Nix. Mr. Galloway was a member at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He retired from Clarkesville Mill. Survivors include, his wife Doris Ann Galloway, Hollywood, GA daughter Tina Galloway, Hollywood, GA sons Wayne Galloway, Mt. City, GA and Larry C. Galloway, Daytona Beach, FL, sisters Hazel Carnes, Tiger, GA and Rosetta Densmore, Batesville, GA, three grandchildren, Michelle Starr, Judy Robart, and Michael Galloway, and five great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel Demorest, GA with Dr. Ken Franklin officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Friday, January 18, 2008 at the funeral home.
