POLLY WILEY TURNER, age 78, of Lula, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at the Mountain View Health Care Center in Clayton, Georgia. Mrs. Turner was born on November 13, 1933, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Guy Clinton and Thelma Bullock Wiley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Turner and her sisters, Ruby Wiley and Janette Wiley Banks. Mrs. Turner was a retired hair dresser and a member of the Clemons Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Guy Sammy and Lou Anne Medlock and Eddie and Lynn Medlock, both of Lula, GA; son, Rickey Ray Turner, Lula, GA; grandchildren, Samantha Medlock, Clint Medlock, Allison Medlock, Eddie Lee Medlock, and Kim Loudermilk; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012, at the Clemons Chapel United Methodist Church in Lula, Georgia. The Rev. Jerry Cameron and the Rev. Phil Ferguson will officiate. The family will receive friends after the memorial service on Friday at the church. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Clemons Chapel United Methodist Church, 6975 Lula Road, Lula, Georgia 30554.
