Phimpha Ratanaxay

PHIMPHA RATANAXAY, age 68, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Mr. Ratanaxay was born on May 4, 1946 in Laos to the late Khamta and Kham Rattanaxay. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Keomany Rattanaxay. Mr. Ratanaxay was a member of the Habersham Family Lao Association. He was retired from Mount Vernon Mills with 20 years of service. He is survived by his sons, Rasame Rattanaxay, Cornelia, GA, Josh Rattanaxay, Mt. Airy, GA; sister, Aebounnho Rattanaxay, Baldwin, GA; brothers, Boualam Rattanaxay , Mt. Airy, GA, Bounthap Lattanaxay, Laos, Phimpho Rattanaxay, Cornelia, GA, Khongchanh Lattanaxay, Alto, GA, Bounthavy Lattanaxay, Laos; grandchildren, Dustin Levi White, Andrew Rattanaxay, Jetrin Rattanaxay, Drake Rattanaxay, Jada Rattanaxay, Alexia Rattanaxay, Masen Rattanaxay. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:30 p.m., on Friday, December 5, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Dr. Craig Ward from Bethlehem Baptist Church and Monks of Habersham County. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014.
