Phillip Allen

Phillip Allen, age 70, of Demorest, Georgia, went to his Heavenly Home on Thursday, August 25, 2016. Mr. Allen was born on August 14, 1946, to the late Frank Allen and Martha Savannah Sosebee Allen. Phillip joins siblings who have preceded him in death: Dorothy Burton, Brenda Sweetin, Jimmy Allen, and Elaine Burton. Mr. Allen was loved very much by his daughter, Penny Allen; grandson, Ridge Greyston Hobson; and granddaughter, Rainlan Galilee Hobson, of Demorest. Phillip is survived by sisters, Rita Addis and Evelyn Sweetin, of Demorest and special friend, Joyce Wheeler, of Demorest. Mr. Allen always tried to live by the "Cherokee Indian Prayer:" As I walk the trail of life in the fear of the wind and rain grant O Great Spirit that I may always walk like a man.
