Phil Brock

PHIL BROCK, age 52, of Mt. Airy, GA, died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Lanier Park hospital. Mr. Brock was born on April 28, 1956 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Alvin and Ila Mae Stewart Brock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Brock. Mr. Brock was a United States Marine Corps veteran having served during the Vietnam era. He was the Water Treatment Manager at Scovill Manufacturing. Survivors include: his son: Randall Pete Brock, Baldwin, GA; Step-son, Brandon Lathan, Baldwin, GA; his sister and brother-in-law: Glenda and James Waters, Cornelia, GA; his sister-in-law: Carolyn Brock, Alto, GA; his brothers and sisters-in-law: T.L. and Frances Brock, Ramburn, AL; Carter and Rebecca Brock, Baldwin, GA; Buford and Bessie Brock, Toccoa, GA; Roy and Terry Brock, Alto, GA. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Greg Brock and Rev. Tim House officiating. The family will receive friends at the South Chapel from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. on Monday.
