Pauline G. Mitchell

PAULINE G. MITCHELL, age 78, of 110 Wheeler Circle, Saluda, SC, wife of the late William H. "Bill" Mitchell, died at the Habersham County Medical Center on Sunday, October 22, 2006 following an extended illness. Born in Gastonia, NC, she was the daughter of the late Joe E. and Eula Mae Griffin. She was a retired textile worker as well as a retired paraprofessional with the Saluda District 1 School. Surviving are a daughter, Dianne Holcomb, Baldwin, GA; a son, Randy Mitchell, Saluda, SC; Grandsons, Troy Holcomb, Baldwin, GA; Bill Ryan, Seth Mitchell, and Tyler Walker, all of Saluda, SC; Granddaughter: Marsha Walker, Aiken, SC; 9 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at the Ramey Funeral Home, Saluda, SC, at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2006. The family is at the residence of the deceased and will receive friends at the Ramey Funeral Home on Monday, October 23, 2006 from 6 until 8 p.m. LOCAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE IN THE CARE OF WHITFIELD FUNERAL HOME, SOUTH CHAPEL, BALDWIN, GEORGIA.
