Paralee Hazel Jones Anderson

Mrs. Paralee Hazel Jones Anderson, age 80 of Oakwood, passed away on Wednesday Afternoon, August 26, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest, Georgia. Reverend Phil Carpenter will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Anderson was born January 20, 1935 in Hall County, Georgia to the late Wiley Grier Jones and Hazel Coley Jones. She was retired from Dunaway/Eckerds Drug Store where she worked as a sales clerk for 29 years. Paralee was a long time member of Westside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Jeffery Tab Anderson and her brothers, William Wiley Jones and Wilburn Wesley Jones. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband of 64 years, Howard T. Anderson of Oakwood, her daughters and their husbands, Vicki & Lamar Tyner of Murrayville and Tara & Scott Poole, also of Murrayville, her son, Gary H. Anderson of Oakwood, her son & daughter-in-law, Kim & Arlene Anderson of Chestnut Mountain, daughter-in-law, Joan D. Anderson of Gainesville, her grandchildren, Brittany Tyner, Mark C. Anderson, Korey Anderson, Megan Anderson Cargile, Koleigh Anderson Turner, Lauren Anderson Giesler, Page Anderson Odom and Cortney Poole Durden, 7 great-grandchildren and her sister& brother-in-law, Glenda & J.
