Ora Adeline Mote Williams

Ora Adeline Williams, age 88, of Westminster, Colorado, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017. Mrs. Williams was born on July 15, 1928, in Clarkesville, Georgia, to the late Otis and Fanny Tomlin Mote. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Irce Williams and sisters, Willene Nix and Joyce Norton. Adeline loved traveling on The Blue Ridge Parkway and knew every curve; she spent many joyful hours traveling. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by loving daughters: Betty J. Williams of Westminster, CO, Patricia E. Merck of West Des Moines, IA, and Pamela F. Mitchell of Centennial, CO; grandchildren: James I. Merck of Pine, CO, Marissa E. Merck of West Des Moines, IA, Savanna E. Merck of West Des Moines, IA, and Amanda E. Merck of West Des Moines, IA; and brothers, Avery Mote of Alto, GA and General Mote of Baldwin, GA. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Bethel Temple Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery in Demorest, Georgia, with Pastor Matt Mote and Rev. Sanford Kimbrell officiating. A luncheon will be held at the church following the graveside service.
