Nancy Ann Tomsa

NANCY ANN MARSHALL TOMSA, age 75, of Carnesville, GA, and formerly of Camp Hill, PA, died Monday, September 28, 2009 at the Stephens County Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Tomsa was born on March 27, 1934 in Steelton, PA to the late Frank and Anna Hess Marshall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Nathan Lawton, and a brother, Kenneth Marshall. Mrs. Tomsa, a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Franklin County, Georgia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include: her husband of 56 years: Andrew William Tomsa, Carnesville, GA; her daughter and son-in-law: Tina and "Hap" Lawton, Carnesville, GA; her sons: Donald K. Tomsa and James William Tomsa, both of Pennsylvania; her sister: Suzanne Marshall, Bay St Louis, MS; her brother: Francis Marshall, Harrisburg, PA; 5 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from the New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Childress officiating. The family will receive friends just following the service on Wednesday. Interment will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
