Nancy Louise Palmer

NANCY LOUISE PALMER, age 67, of Rutledge, TN formerly of Demorest, GA died Friday, October 27, 2006 following a sudden illness. Nancy was born December 21, 1938 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Otis and Jeanette Vinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Winfield Landers, daughter, Mary Davidson and a son, Merida W. Landers, III. She was a member of Demorest Baptist Church. Nancy was very active in The Salvation Army and various other community organizations and activities. She was an Auctioneer. Survivors include: her husband: Stan Palmer, three sons: Michael Landers, Rutledge, TN, Mitchell Landers, Royce City, TX, Bronson Palmer, Demorest, GA, three sisters: Mabel Bearden and Sue Bearden, both of Demorest, GA, Doris Southerland, Powder Springs, GA, a brother:, William Vinson, Stone Mountain, GA, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Landers Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2006.
