Nancy J Moore

Nancy J. Moore, age 66, of Clarkesville, GA, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at her residence, following an extended illness. Mrs. Moore was born on December 15, 1952, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late A. M. and Harriett Grier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Moore. Mrs. Moore attended the Hillside Baptist Church. She was employed with Global Tech for 24 years. Prior to becoming associated with Global Tech, Mrs. Moore was employed with Yonah Realty. Survivors include: son, Christopher Jackson, Clarkesville; daughter and husband, Cody and Josh Harkins, Alto,; step-daughter, Jamie Moore, Maysville; step- daughter and step son-in-law, Melanie and Gregory Armour, Clarkesville, Ga; sisters: Mary Helen Lewis, Fayettville, Genelle Veal, Conyers, Linda Landers, Mt. Airy, Penny Norton, Alto, Judy Hogan, Cornelia; brothers, David Grier, Lula and Danny Grier, Hollywood; grandchildren: Kaitlin McLaine, Phoenix Armour, Skylar Jackson, Dennis Harkins, Calista Armour, B.B. Jackson, Jackson Harkins, and Angela Harkins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with Pastor Mike Ross officiating. Interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the funeral home.
