Nancy Lee Kimbrell

MRS. NANCY LEE KIMBRELL, age 71 of Cornelia, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. Born in Crawford, Georgia on October 12, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Gray and the late Marie Hendrix Hambrick. Mrs. Kimbrell was a homemaker and served as a dietician for many years with the Oak's at Scenic View Nursing Home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hubert Kimbrell. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Karen Brewer, Cornelia, GA; sons and daughter-in-laws, Howard Douglas "Doug" Kimbrell and Suzanne Mason, Elgin, SC; Donald Raymond and Zelda Kimbrell, Cleveland, GA; sister, Carolyn Harris, brother, Marvin Harris, both of Jefferson, GA; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin with the Rev. Ray Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m until 9 p.m. on Thursday.
