Nancy Elizabeth Edenfield

NANCY ELIZABETH EDENFIELD, age 82, of Alto, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013, at a local care facility following an extended illness. Mrs. Edenfield was born on July 10, 1930, in Cleveland, Georgia; daughter of the late James Wesley and Evie Elizabeth Moose Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lillie Mae Peters and brothers, Arvil, Claude, and Homer Davis. Mrs. Edenfield was a member of Bethesda Fellowship Congregational Holiness Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her loving husband, Rev. William D. Edenfield, Alto, GA; daughters, Betty Popadics, Peggy Janet Goff, Rebecca Ann Eggert, and Sybil Abernathy; sons, Stanley Taylor, Anthony Waldon, Robert Lee Jenkins, Justin Edenfield, and Richard Edenfield; several daughters-in-law and sons-in-law; brother, J.B. Davis; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. John Graham officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the funeral home.
