Myra Lee Lockee Bush

MYRA LEE LOCKEE BUSH, age 91, of Warrenton, GA and formerly of Thomson and Clarkesville, GA died Monday, November 19, 2012. Mrs. Bush was born August 1, 1921, in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late Lee Roy and Cora Lockee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Bill" Bush; her sisters, Bertha McMahan and Bernice Ellenburg; her brothers, Delton and Alfonso Lockee; grandchildren, Cy Poss and Leigh Bush; and a son-in-law, Dexter Poss. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Poss and Floyd Montgomery and Judy and Jack Garrison, both of Thomson, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Rodger and Janet Bush, Clarkesville, GA; grandchildren, Ty Poss, Ky Poss, Guy Poss, Ansley Hunt, and Griff Garrison, all of Thomson, GA and Johnny Bush, Clarkesville, GA; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Pastor Don Samples officiating.
