Ms. Cona Wall

Ms. Cona Wall, age 82 of Clarkesville, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. Born in Habersham County, Georgia on November 01, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Fred Victor and Polly Missouri Lovell Wall. Ms. Wall was a life-long resident of Habersham County, began working with Piedmont Automotive in 1962, and retired after 30 plus years of service. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her brothers, Ferd B. Wall, Claude J. Wall, Clyde Wall, sisters, Chloe B. Wall, and Callie Wall Nicholson. Survivors include her sister-in-laws, Virginia Wall, Mae Wall, both of Clarkesville; nieces and nephews, Joyce and David Burton, Dorothy and James Arrowood, Retha Nicholson, Henry and Molly Nicholson, all of Clarkesville; Freddy and Hope Nicholson, Mt. Airy; Herman and Lisa Nicholson, David and Jody Wall, all of Clarkesville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 02, 2008 from the Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Stephens and the Rev. Paris Whitworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Ms. Wall will lie in state at the church from 1:30 p.m. until service time Tuesday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Antioch Baptist Church, 2175 Antioch Church Road, Mt.
