Mrs. Tem Lasopha

MRS. TEM LASOPHA, age 81, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. Lasopha was born on May 15, 1932, in Laos; daughter of the late Kong and Vandy Vongnakhone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Khang Lasopha. She was of the Buddhist faith and a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters, Cheng Lasopha, Alto and Khammoune Lasopha, Mt. Airy; sister, Keomany Kinnarath, Cornelia; grandchildren, Bounemy Phongsavanh, Lottana Phapakdy, Champasack Phapakdy, Lak Phapakdy, and Ai Phothisane; and great-grandchildren, Manichanh Jade Phongsavanh, Matthew Phapakdy, Xayanh Jordan Phongsavanh, Cody Phapakdy, and Souliyah Phothisane. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Monks from the Wat Lao Buddha Ram Kham Bounheuang Temple, Monks from the Wat Lao Buddha Sattha Dham Temple, and Leaders of the Lao Families Association of Habersham County officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2013, at the funeral home.
