Mima Lou Roberts Holcomb

MIMA LOU ROBERTS HOLCOMB, age 94, of Clarkesville, GA, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at a local health care facility. Mrs. Holcomb was born on September 16, 1912 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Edward S. and Eula Whiting Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Holcomb, her son, Ken Holcomb and a great-grandson, Nate Pullium. Mrs. Holcomb was a homemaker and a member of the Harvest Christian Church. She was the last member of her immediate family. Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law: Charles and Jane Holcomb, Cornelia, GA; her daughter-in-law: Barbara Holcomb, Cornelia, GA; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2007 from the Harvest Christian Church with ***Mike Taylor, David Terrell, and Rick Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday.
