Mildred Ann Wood Garner

Mildred Ann Wood Garner, age 79, of Kingsland, Georgia, formerly of Clarkesville, Georgia , went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 28, 2020, following an extended illness. Mrs. Garner was born January 8, 1941, in Habersham County, Georgia, to the late Ralph and Grace Wood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husband, Billy J. (BJ) Garner; sisters: Rachel Mae Franklin and Montine Bobo; brother, J. R. Wood. Mrs. Garner was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was retired from Fieldale Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sherri Garner, Kingsland, Georgia; sisters, Shirley Hilton, Clarkesville, Georgia, Geraldine Ledford, Clarkesville, Georgia, Sue Wood, Clarkesville, Georgia, and Ann Whitworth, Martin, Georgia; sister-in-law, Barabara Jean Garner Wood, Demorest, Georgia; grandchildren, Georgia Ann Garner, Zackery Carlton Durden, and Austin Davis Durden. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 1, 2020, from the Yonah Memorial Gardens.
