Mildred Knapp

Mildred Knapp, age 70 , of Alto, Georgia, passed away at her residence on Monday, April 11, 2016, following an extended illness. Mrs. Knapp was born August 17, 1945 in Potosi, MO to the late William Earl and Mary Farrell Colter. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Colter, Joseph Colter, Marie Colter Young, Melvin Colter and Monroe Colter. Mrs. Knapp is survived by her husband, Rege Knapp of Alto; daughter, Jodie Adcock of Crestwood, Il; sons, Jeffery Adcock of Crestwood, Il; Anthony Gaudio of Flowery Branch, Matthew Gaudio of Gainesville; sisters, Rosie Colter Boyster of Potosi, MO, Mina Colter Fort of Decatur, IL; grandchildren, Nathan Gaudio, Alyssa Bauer, Ryan Bauer and Nathaniel Bauer. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour .
