Mildred Anderson Ellison

Mildred Anderson Ellison, age 92, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020. Mrs. Ellison was born in Clarkesville, Georgia on May 23, 1927, to the late Henry and Leona Trotter Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles James "CJ" Ellison; her sister, Doris Taylor and a brother, Homer Anderson. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and homemaker. Survivors include her two sisters, Evelyn Dockery, of Cornelia; Ruth McAllister, of Demorest; brother, Bill Anderson, of Clarkesville; and sister-in-law, Judy Ellison. Survivors also include several nieces, nephews, and special friends. Private Graveside Services will be held at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Teresa Franklin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home, P. O. Box 329, Palmetto, Georgia 30268.
