Mildred Willis Bow

MILDRED WILLIS BOW, age 91, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011. Mrs. Bow was born on February 1, 1919, in Westminister, South Carolina to the late Clarence E. and Susanna Dorn Willis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leslie L. Bow. Mrs. Bow was an active member of Level Grove Baptist Church for over 50 years, a former Sunday School Teacher, active in WMU, and also a Home Bound Worker. She loved music and played the piano. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Lentis Lee, Scottsville, KY; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Deborah Bow, Gainesville, GA, Roger and Teresa Bow, Lawrenceville, GA; Ronnie Bow, Crossville, TN; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, and again from 1 p.m. until the service hour on Wednesday at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
