Michael Nathaniel Galloway, age 75, of Alto passed away on September 26, 2021. Mr. Galloway was born in Banks, County Georgia on October 23, 1945 to the late Sara "Jean" Galloway. Mike was the longest working employee at Fieldale, where he worked his whole career for 55 years as the trucking supervisor. Mr. Galloway married Martha on April 23, 1998. He was a loving and compassionate husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mike enjoyed piloting his own plane, taking family for plane rides, being Santa Clause Christmas was his favorite holiday, he had collections of toys and gadgets, loving going to the beach and spending time with his family. Along with his mother Mike is preceded in death by his brothers Reggie Galloway and Vance Galloway. Mike is survived by his wife Martha Galloway; son Mark Reginald Galloway, of Banks, County; son Michael Stace Galloway, of Banks, County; daughter Gayla Michelle Galloway-Burt, of Banks, County; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Tricia Smith, of Alto, Ga; grandchildren Whitley Galloway, Aaron Galloway, Nate Galloway, Austin Smith, Will Galloway and Owen Smith; great grandchildren Gracelyn Galloway-Ivey and Jace Galloway; mother-in-law Stella Cleveland, of Alto and a great number of other nieces, nephews and other relatives. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Whitfield Funeral Home South Chapel from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A memorial service has been scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Fort Hollingsworth-White House, 2307 Wynn Lake Rd, Alto, GA 30535. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel at 1370 Industrial Boulevard, Baldwin, Georgia 30511. Telephone: 706-778-7123.
