Michael B. Baysinger

MICHAEL B. BAYSINGER, age 61, of Cornelia, Georgia, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010. Mr. Baysinger was born on May 16, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois to the late William Baysinger and Alyce Kosmider Baysinger. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Tim Baysinger. Mr. Baysinger was a United States Army veteran having proudly served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was retired from hotel management in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. Baysinger was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Cornelia, Georgia. Survivors include his wife, Deanna "Deedee" Baysinger, Cornelia, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jim Bailey, Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Amy Albers, Cleveland, GA and Tammy Shope, also of Cleveland, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jayne Albers, Cornelia, GA; sisters, Beverly Pesacov, California and Barbara Hayward, Illinois; and 3 grandchildren, Jonathan Bailey, Shane Carlton, and Trevor Carlton. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Yarber officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rabun County DAV Chapter #15, the Habersham County American Legion Post #84, and the Grant Reeves VFW Post #7720.
