Maude Inez King

MAUDE INEZ KING, age 100, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011. Ms. King was born on May 21, 1910, in Habersham County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Rullis and Martha Grant King. Ms. King was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lou Free, Viola Gunn, Bertie Elrod, Elsie King, and Alice McConnell. She retired after 47 years of service with the Habersham Mills Corporation. Ms. King was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church, the Sunshine Club, and #45 Faith Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include her brother, Robert Lee "Bob" King, Kings Mountain, NC and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Level Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Rice and Rev. Brian James officiating. Burial will follow in Level Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Level Grove Baptist Church.
