Mary Sue Allen Jackson

MARY SUE ALLEN JACKSON, age 87, of Highway 198, Carnesville, GA died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at her daughter's residence. Mrs. Jackson was born in Walton County, GA on August 2, 1919. She was a daughter of the late Ben Lee Allen and Bessie Jane Stowe Allen and was also preceded in death by her husband, George Vernon Jackson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of Nails Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Carwood Manufacturing Company after 18 years service. Survivors include: her daughter, Glenda Jackson Pruitt of Carnesville, GA; 1 granddaughter and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2007, from Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Duane Eller and Rev. Tommy Childress officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday.
