Mary Hargrove Scott

Mary Hargrove Scott, of Clarkesville, GA, died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at a private care facility. Mrs.Scott was a native of Burke Co., GA, and had lived in Clarkesville for the past 34 years. She was a dorm mother for 21 years at North Georgia Technical College. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include: her son: John Cates Scott, Jr., Reidsville, NC; a daughter: June Scott Bryant, Clarkesville, GA; her grandchildren: Fran Favors Dundore, John Scott Favors, Christy Ann McGuire, Heather Landers London, Jonathon Christopher Scott, Nicole Scott Fortenberry, Ashley Scott Bogue, Erin Scott, Natalie Scott; great-grandchildren: Jenna Catherine Dundore, Ashley Evan Dundore, Kaitlyn Brieann McGuire, Kinsley Grace McGuire, Gracie Leigh Fortenberry; sister: Annie Laurie Hargrove, Waynesboro, GA. Graveside services were held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2006 in the Magnolia Cemetery, Waynesboro, GA. Rev. Russell Barker officiated and the family received friends following the service at the graveside.
