Mary Andrews Parker, age 82, of the Lamar Christian Church Community, Baldwin, Georgia, died, Thursday, January 14, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Parker was born on October 26, 1927 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Grover Cleveland and Viola Ward Andrews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Parker, her sisters, Rumyrthe Wilbanks, Christine Wilkinson, and June White, as well as her brothers, Carman Andrews and Jack Andrews. Mrs. Parker was a member of the Lamar Christian Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include: her sons and daughters-in-law: Lamar and Janice Parker, Cornelia, GA; Greg and Vickie Parker, Baldwin, GA; her sister-in-law: Elise Mae Andrews, Baldwin, GA; her brother-in-law: Garner White, Baldwin, GA; her two granddaughters and their spouses: Holly and Chris Woods, Hollywood, GA; Mandy and J. D. Dalton, Homer, GA; her grandson: Clyde Parker, Baldwin, GA; her two great-grandchildren: Cheyanne Dalton and Montana Dalton, Homer, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Lamar Christian Church with Pastor Bill Moody, Tommy Wilkinson, and David Terrell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia from 7 until 9 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Lamar Christian Church, 3247 Hwy 105, Baldwin, GA 30511. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
