Mary Lee Whitlock Tolbert

Mary Lee Whitlock Tolbert, age 82, of Baldwin, Georgia went to her heavenly home to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 4, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Tolbert was born on February 13, 1929, in Jackson County to the late Marvin and Lillie Mae Dills Whitlock. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Thurston, L.C., Travis, Morgan, and Tom Whitlock and son-in-law, Roger Brock. Mrs. Tolbert was a member of Hillside Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Fieldale Farms with 16 years of service. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Ray Tolbert, of the home; daughters, Vicki Brock, Demorest, GA and Nancy Carey, Clarkesville, GA; three grandchildren, Joylee Brock, Latasha Lewallen, and Lakietta Bonnie; nine great-grandchildren, Alex Brock, Kayla Brock, Damon Brock, Cody Tench, Katie and Kylie Tench, Casey and Christian Tench, and Ava Rose Bonnie. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. from Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Luther Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Lula, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
