Mary K. Campbell

MARY K. CAMPBELL, age 90, of Clarkesville, GA passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Campbell was born on May 18, 1920, in Conway, New Hampshire to the late Wilber Hobbs and Catherine Bolan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Campbell, Jr., her sister, Jannett Roskuska and her half brother, Lucien Smart, Sr. Mrs. Campbell was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Campbell was actively involved in many community civic organizations, as well as, having served on the Board of Directors for the National Realtors Association. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Harrison Alley, Clarkesville, GA and her son, Bruce E. Campbell, Charleston, South Carolina. She was the last of her immediate family. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Steve Doran officiating. Interment will follow in the V.F.W. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
