Mary Opal Hamilton

MARY OPAL HAMILTON, age 97, of Clarkesville, GA died Thursday, March 13, 2008. Mrs. Hamilton was born on July 24, 1910 in Harris County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Perry Welborn Hamilton, a son, Gene Hamilton, and a daughter Mary Juliene Hamilton. Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker and a member of the Rehobeth Baptist Church. Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law: Patricia H. and Walter O. Teague, Clarkesville, GA; her grandchildren: Pam and Karl Schlieman, Tim and Shari Teague, Jill Kleinschmidt, Eric and Kristine Hamilton, and Larry Mooney; her great-grandchildren: Josh and Crystal Schlieman, Steph Schlieman, Austin Schlieman, Tim Teague, Jr., Megan Teague, Wrenn Kleinschmidt, Collin Kleinschmidt, Mary Alyse Kleinschmidt, Amber Hamilton, Eric Hamilton, Jr., Steven Hamilton, and Dylan Hamilton; 9 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2008 from Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Phil DeMore officiating. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.
