Mary Glenn Manley Welborn

MARY GLENN MANLEY WELBORN, age 61, of Cornelia, GA died Monday, November 6, 2006 at Piedmont Hospital, Atlanta, GA. Ms. Welborn was born on July 25, 1945 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Jay Herman and Mary Lou Marcus Manley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joseph and Nancy Marcus whom reared her in their home. Ms. Welborn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cornelia, GA. She was a graduate of South Habersham High School. Ms. Welborn was employed at Belk's in Cornelia, GA. Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law: Jimmy and Nancy Welborn, Demorest, GA , a son: David Welborn, Flowery Branch, GA, 2 grandchildren: Preston and Peyton Welborn. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2006 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA. Officiating will be the Rev. Tim Beasley. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006.
