MARY FRANCES KING KINSEY, age 66, of Alto, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Kinsey was born on November 12, 1946, in Habersham County, Georgia; daughter of Max and Dorothy Thomas King of Alto, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Jean King. Ms. Kinsey was a member of Compassion Baptist Church in Carnesville, Georgia. She retired early from Scovill Fastners, Inc. due to her illness. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Hope and Greg Kelley and Sherry and Justin Savage, both of Alto, GA; daughters, Hope Gilleland and Lilly Gilleland, both of Alto, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Amanda Hester, Cornelia, GA and Shawn and Lilly Hester, Oakwood, GA; sisters, Margaret Tolbert, Lavonia, GA, Ruth Evans, Hartwell, GA, Grace Ledford, Clarkesville, GA, Christine Martin, Alto, GA, Mary Harbin, Hartwell, GA, Anna Fowler, Clarkesville, GA, and Amanda Seabolt, Madison, GA; brothers, William King, Dennis King, Jimmy King, Wesley King, and David King, all of Alto, GA and Phil King, Carnesville, GA; grandchildren, Cody Kelley, Kristin Cheek, Kayla Waters, Jackson Savage, Emily Savage, Seth Hester, Stephen Hester, Anissa Hester, Bradon Hester, Leanne Strickland, Nikki Hester, Shauna Arrowood, and Veda Irvin; and six great-grandchildren. She leaves behind an enormous circle of family and friends who will forever be touched by her undying spirit and courage. Our family is like a quilt, bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Leon Carson and Mr. Cody Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the funeral home.
