Mary Elizabeth Dudrow Galloway

Mary Elizabeth Dudrow Michael, age 94, of Clarkesville, GA died Friday, October 5, 2007. Mrs. Michael was born in Greensprings, Ohio to the late William Dudrow and Ethel Perrin Dudrow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Oscar W. Michael, who passed away March 18, 1988, her two brothers, William and Donald, her three sisters, Dorothy, Alice, and Irene as well as her grandchildren, Steven Michael, Sherrie Baggett King, William J. Michael, and Cynthia Chambers Unisko. Mrs. Michael was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed gardening and many other activities. She was a member of the Beneva Christian Church in Sarasota, Florida. Survivors include: her children and their families: daughter: Shirley Michael Chambers and Merwin Chambers and their two sons, Bruce and Tim Chambers, son: William O. Michael and Marcia Dier Michael and their son Larry Michael and daughter Beverly Michael Baggett and Ideson Lee Baggett and their two daughters Beckie Baggett Hill and Michell Baggett Gerscerson. Mrs. Michael is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A memorial service celebrating the life of Mrs. Michael will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with Rev. Greg Walton officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Fremont, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
