Mary Clyde Propes Sims, age 57, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015. Mary Clyde was born on June 19, 1958, in Hall County, Georgia, to the late Denver and Lucille Propes. She was a 1976 graduate of Habersham Central High School. Mrs. Sims was a dedicated employee of the Habersham County Board of Education, Transportation Division, for 18 years. She lived by her own rules and fiercely loved her family and friends. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Darilee and Nathan Ray, Atlanta, GA; son, Scott Sims, Demorest, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Gilbert and Claudine Propes, Cornelia, GA. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
