CHITWOOD, MARY HENRIETTA - Mary Henrietta Chitwood, age 84 of Lilburn passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 19. 2009 at Yellow River Baptist Church, Lilburn with Rev. Jerry Cline officiating. Graveside Services will follow at 4:00 PM at Tates Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Banks County with Layman Ed Sills officiating. A homemaker and member of Yellow River Baptist Church, Mrs. Chitwood was a devoted wife for 60 years, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Chitwood and is survived by: Children: Shirley & Ken Aultman, Snellville; Keith & Barbara Chitwood, Jefferson; Karen & Larry Titshaw, Lilburn; Brothers: Emory Speir Brown, Jr. Smyrna; Donald Brown, Bishop; Sisters: Gwendolyn Smith, Conyers; Elizabeth & Johnny Carmichael, Marietta; Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: Junior & Pauline Chitwood, Mauldin, SC; 9 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews. Family will receive friends from 6-9 PM, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 2246 Wisteria Drive, Snellville, Georgia 30078. Local arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
