MARY ANN G. MCCLELLAN MARTIN, age 67, of Clarkesville, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Mrs. Martin was born on May 21, 1943 in Cornelia, GA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Velma McClellan Luthi. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker she loved all her family and extended family so very much and she will be missed dearly. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Glen Nix, Toccoa, GA; son and daughter-in-law, David and Wanda Martin, Baldwin, GA; son, Phillip Martin, Baldwin, GA; sisters, Darlene Arrowood, Demorest, GA, Sandra Black, Clarkesville, GA Karen Adams, Oakwood, GA, and Rachel Waddell, Alto, GA; brothers, Mitchell Luthi, Clarkesville, GA and Michael Luthi, Alto, GA; 6 grandchildren, Stoney Wilbanks, Scott Martin, Nathan Martin, Noel Martin, Kelsey Martin, all of Baldwin, GA, Glenna Nix, Toccoa, GA; special grandchildren, Isabelle, Dustin, Miranda. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA, with Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
