Martha Edna Tatum, age 90, of Demorest GA, formerly of Clarkesville, GA died Sunday, August 19, 2007 at a local area hospital following a sudden illness. Mrs. Tatum was born in Chattanooga TN on January 1, 1917 to the late Clarence Alvin and Agnes Neal Tomlison. She lived most of her life in Albany GA. Mrs. Tatum was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Tatum was a graduate of Mercer University, Macon, GA. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Clarkesville, GA and devoted her life to Christian service with her minister husband, Rev. Jack Tatum, who survives her. In addition to her being a homemaker she was also in the banking business. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Clarkesville, GA with Rev. Furman Lewis and Dr. William Cashion officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
