Mark Stephen Hunter

Mark Stephen Hunter, age 50, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017. Mr. Hunter was born on January 16, 1967, in Toccoa, Georgia. He was a son of David V. Hunter of Cornelia and the late Brenda Hunter. Mark was a self-employed small engine mechanic. In addition to his father, he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 and from 3-4 pm before the funeral on Wednesday at the funeral home.
