Marjorie Althea Coe

MARJORIE ALTHEA COE, age 84, of Demorest, Georgia passed away on January 23, 2013 at home following an extended illness. Born December 9, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Oscar C. Palmer and Ethel L. Palmer. In addition to her parents MS Coe was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Coe; sisters, Doris Yuidck and Myrtis Brooks and brothers Elmer and Robert Palmer. She is survived by her sons, Bill W. Rice, Cornelia, and Charles L. Garrett, Mt. Airy; granddaughter, Autumn Morris; grandson, Matthew Garrett; great-granddaughters, Tori Garrett and Reyna Garrett all of Mt. Airy; sisters, Geraldine Williams and Lydia Von Bargen, brother, Jerald Palmer, all of Demorest; and a numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Bethel Temple Congregational Holiness Church.
